Location...

Brisa Atlántica nestled in between the Babilons Tower Mountains and the edge of the Atlantic Ocean at Walker Bay, Hermanus almost 80 years ago, when Onrust River was still farmland supporting a village for lepers. The village of Hermanus is situated on the Atlantic seaboard, ±130 km south from Cape Town en route to the Garden Route.

The venue….

The architectural style of the house dates from the Gatsby era with a blend of Colonial and Spanish design, with large rooms, high ceilings and rich Oregon wood finishing. The comfort of three spacious double bedrooms, each with private facilities and crisp white linen, offers guests the relaxing atmosphere needed to unwind.

Food for the soul….

Relax in the shade of the garden, enjoy a refreshing splash in the pool or a day at the beach. Experience the excitement whilst watching the whales roaming the waves only a breath away, giving birth and raise their young in the sheltered waters of Walker Bay…... medicine for the soul.

Bird-lovers and photographers will appreciate the variety at their doorstep and the more adventurous can amble up Fern Kloof for a relaxing hike along the crest of Babilon’s Tower Mountain or go for a stroll on Grotto Beach. . . . and the very adventurous can conquer the seas with a shark dive experience.

Agri-tours may include agricultural activities such as wheat or maize farming, hydroponic systems, fruit farming, ostrich farming, etc.

Food for the body….

A continental/cooked breakfast is included in the room rate and your hosts will recommend one of the many local restaurants for lunch or dinner. A picnic basket could be arranged for your visit to the beach or to enjoy on the Fern Kloof hike.
